What makes running a gym in Dubai different
Membership in Dubai moves fast. A large share of residents are expats, people change jobs and apartments often, and some leave the country with little notice. Your member list is never stable for long, so knowing exactly who is active, who has expired and who is only away matters more here than in most cities.
The calendar also shifts through the year. Many members travel in the summer months, routines change during Ramadan, and the cooler months bring a rush of new sign-ups. Each of these turns into renewal questions: who paused, who lapsed, who needs a reminder before their plan runs out.
Finally, most gym owners in Dubai are also the manager, the salesperson and sometimes the coach. Anything that needs a computer and a free hour at the desk tends not to get done.
How Powerzone helps a Dubai gym
- Every member's plan, fees, start date and expiry date in one list, on your phone and in the web dashboard.
- A daily view of who expires today and this week, so you can follow up before memberships lapse instead of after.
- QR attendance: members scan your gym's QR code to check in, with a location check so check-ins only count at the gym.
- A member app where members see their own plan, expiry date and attendance, with a digital membership card.
- Push notifications for announcements, plus holiday notices so members know in advance when the gym is closed.
- Your existing list moved in for you: send us your Excel sheet and we import it.
Pricing in AED
Powerzone costs AEDÂ 1,649 a year or AEDÂ 169 a month. That includes unlimited members, the owner app, the member app and the web dashboard. There are no per-member fees, so a growing gym doesn't pay more for growing. Taxes, if any, are shown on your invoice before you pay.
Setup from India, honestly
Powerzone is built by AppVeda Software in Nagpur, India. We don't have an office in the UAE, and we won't pretend to. Setup is remote: you register, we create your account and share your login, you send us your member list in Excel and we import it, and we walk you through the apps on a call or on WhatsApp. India is only 1.5 hours ahead of the UAE, so our working day overlaps with yours.
